Masked gunman robs Harlan bank

A masked man with a gun robbed the Harlan iAB Financial Bank on Monday morning.

The panic alarm was activated about 9 a.m. at the bank at 17505 Indiana 37, according to a statement issued by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.

The robber was described as a thin white male, 20 to 35 years old and 5-foot-7. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black mask and carried a black handgun. He left in a white, two-door car driven by another male, the sheriff’s department said.

The car went in the direction of Spencerville.
