Lake Avenue work begins Tuesday

Construction is scheduled to begin Tuesday on Lake Avenue between North Anthony Boulevard and Hobson Road.

The work will be near Randallia Drive and Lake Avenue near Hobson Road, according to a statement issued Tuesday by the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department.

Concrete restoration will be done on old patches.

The department said there will be temporary detour for Lake Avenue traffic using North Anthony Boulevard, State Boulevard and Hobson Road during daytime hours for concrete removal. Traffic will be opened under lane restrictions for the remainder of the project.

The work is expected to be complete by Friday.
