Hale Avenue section closed for sewer project

Beginning Monday, Hale Avenue between Brooklyn Avenue and the St. Marys River will be closed to through traffic until about Oct. 1 for a storm sewer separation improvement project, the city of Fort Wayne said today.

A detour for Hale Avenue street traffic and for St. Marys Pathway users will be marked, the city's traffic engineering department said in a statement.
