1 held in Kosciusko meth bust


A North Webster man is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on a preliminary charge of making methamphetamine, the county sheriff's department said today.

Timothy Alan Elliott, 30, was being held on $20,000 bond, the sheriff's department said in a statement.

It said county Drug Task Force officers received a tip Tuesday morning from North Webster police about a possible meth lab at an address in the 300 block of North Main Street.

Upon arrival, the officers located an active one-pot meth lab inside the residence, the statement said. It said Elliott was there, and he was arrested.

The county prosecutor's office and the Indiana State Police Meth Lab Team assisted, the statement said.
