Work set on Indiana 930, US 27 in Fort Wayne

Statement as issued Thursday by INDOT:

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that tomorrow, Friday, June 6 and on Monday, June 9, weather permitting, a contractor for the City of Fort Wayne will be resurfacing various locations of US 27/Lafayette Street and SR 930/ Coliseum Boulevard. The work is to resurface the roadway which was damaged during the winter by a broken water main.

Contractor is anticipated to work at the listed locations below for several hours on Friday, June 6. The following Monday, June 9, the below listed locations will be restricted for an hour as surface is applied.

  • The northbound right turn lane of SR 930/Coliseum Boulevard at Lake Avenue and the adjacent lane will be restricted during the mid morning hours
  • The farthest left lane of US 27/ Lafayette Street just south of Baxter Street is scheduled to be restricted during mid afternoon.
  • The farthest left lane of US 27/ Lafayette Street just north of Pettit Avenue is scheduled for restrictions in the mid afternoon.
