Little info in parking lot shooting

Fort Wayne police are investigating an early-morning shooting that occurred Monday in a parking lot and left a man in critical condition.

According to a statement from the Fort Wayne police department, there was a disturbance in the area of the 4200 block of South Clinton Avenue that led to the man being shot.

When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the man in serious condition, but after he arrived at the hospital, he was downgraded to critical condition.

Police were interviewing potential witnesses and examining any surveillance footage that might be available Monday, but no information on a suspect was available, according to the release.
