Accidental shooting hits 13-year-old in head

A 13-year-old was found outside a Bluffton mobile home Tuesday with a gunshot wound to the head.

Police Chief Nathan Huss said the accidental shooting happened just before noon Tuesday. The call to 620 1/2 Beth Ave. came in at 11:55 a.m.

The boy was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital. His condition was not immediately available.

Three other children in the residence at the time of the shooting were being interviewed by investigators, police said.
