Man accused of sex with young girl

A New Haven man was charged Tuesday with several counts of child molesting after a young girl accused him of having sex with her when she was 7 or 8 years old.

Jeremy T. Bolenbaugh, 33, faces five counts of child molesting for the events the girl said occurred between 2010 and 2012, according to the probable cause affidavit.

Bolenbaugh denied all the allegations when interviewed by police, according to the report.

Police found out about the allegations after the girl, who was 9 when interviewed by investigators, told her therapist in late 2013.

She said that during the two-year time span,Bolenbaugh either had sex with her or performed other sex acts at home, in Bolenbaugh's car and at his sister's house, according to the affidavit.

Bolenbaugh was booked into the Allen County Lockup on Tuesday evening on $110,000 bail.
