Thunderstorms loom in region

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana says northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio are likely to be in for some thunderstorms over the next few days.

Storms are possible this afternoon and likely tonight before 2 a.m., the weather service said. Some of the storms could be severe with heavy rain.

There is also a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday, with isolated severe storms possible.
