Butler Road closure scheduled

Statement as issued Tuesday by the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department:

Please be advised that Butler Road will be closed to traffic at the railroad overpass between Hillegas Road and Goshen Road on Wednesday May 28, 2014 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Butler Road will be closed to allow railroad maintenance crews to work overhead on Butler Road at the railroad elevation.

It is anticipated that this work will only last a few hours and there will not be a marked detour for this temporary closure. Butler Road will be opened to local traffic up to the railroad overpass.

The contractor will be responsible for the placement and maintenance of all construction signs and barricades.
