Syracuse motorcyclist dies of injuries

A Syracuse man who was critically injured Wednesday evening when his motorcycle hit a vehicle stopped in traffic has died.

Daniel List, 56, died on Saturday the result of head injuries, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department said.

Police said List was traveling south on Indiana 13 near the South Shore Golf Club when he collided with a pickup truck pulling a trailer that had stopped because of other traffic on the road. An ambulance crew witnessed the accident and immediately offered aid. List was flown to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Police said he was not wearing a helmet. The accident is under investigation.
