Lawson reminding voters: Election Day is Nov. 4

– Secretary of State Connie Lawson wants voters to remember Election Day is Nov. 4 this year.

She announced Wednesday she would begin mailing voters postcards as a reminder. The move also comes as the state is updating its list of voters.

Postcards that are returned to Lawson will be used to identify outdated voter information. Lawson said she worked with state budget writers to secure the funding needed to conduct an update of the state’s voter rolls.

Voters who want to update their information can visit the website www.indianavoters.com, their local county clerk’s office or any Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch.
