5 arrested in area on meth charges

What started as an attempt to serve an arrest warrant on one person ended with five people in the Huntington County Jail on meth-related charges.

Huntington police said the department received a tip Tuesday that someone with a warrant was in the 500 block of East Washington Street.

When police arrived and got permission to search the home, they found several items commonly used to make methamphetamine, according to the Huntington Police Department.

After police finished searching the home, they arrested Ricci D. Davis, 34; Melinda F. Beougher, 28; Gregory M. Fisher, 50; Amanda J. Casto, 36; and Thomas L. Hale, 30.

All were charged with manufacturing meth.
