4.8 pounds of marijuana seized, police say

A Fort Wayne man was charged today with dealing cocaine and possessing marijuana after city police served a search warrant at his home and said they found 4.8 pounds of marijuana.

Charley Gonzalez Jr., 61, was charged with three counts of dealing cocaine and one felony count of marijuana possession, Fort Wayne police said in a statement. His bond was set at $155,000.

Police said the Vice & Narcotics Division served a search warrant at a home in the 6300 block of Easthills Road about 10:30 a.m. They said they had received information that someone at the home was dealing cocaine, and said they purchased cocaine from Gonzalez.

Police said their investigation is continuing.
