Huntington lifts boil-water advisory

Statement as issued Wednesday by the city of Huntington:

HUNTINGTON – The Indiana Department of Environmental Management required the City of Huntington to conduct additional testing of its water distribution system relating to the recent boil advisory. That testing has been completed and all tests have been returned as clear. Accordingly, effective 1:15 p.m., on May 21, 2014, the boil advisory is lifted for the City of Huntington’s water distribution system.

The City understands the inconvenience caused by this boil advisory and appreciates its citizens’ inquiries, patience and understanding.
