Reward offered in dog killing

A $1,000 reward has been offered in the death of Otis, a black Labrador retriever killed earlier this month in Paulding County.

The Paulding County Dog Kennel posted the reward on its Facebook page.

On May 4, the 80-pound dog with a red collar was taken from his home near Antwerp School. He was shot, bundled in a tarp and thrown in a ditch near Forder’s Bridge.He was found several days later by a woman walking in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Paulding sheriff’s department at 419-399-3791.
