Huntington charges 5 with making meth

Five people were arrested after police found meth-related items in a house near downtown Huntington.

The Huntington Police Department on Tuesday said officers went to the home in the 500 block of Franklin Street, looking for a warrant suspect.

After getting information that a meth lab was inside, police searched the residence. They reported finding a number of items commonly used to make meth.

According to a statement released by police, the following suspects have been charged with felony manufacturing methamphetamine -- Ricci D. Davis, 34; Melinda F. Beougher, 28; Gregory M. Fisher, 50, Amanda J. Casto, 36; and Thomas L. Hale, 30.
