IPFW exit to Coliseum Boulevard closes

Statement as distributed Monday by INDOT:

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that today, May 19, the Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne (IPFW) campus entrance on SR 930/Coliseum Boulevard is closed to outgoing traffic. Although traffic will be permitted to enter IPFW’s campus at this intersection, there is only a single inbound lane. Work in this area consists of construction of a turn lane, as well as signal, pipe and curb work.

A detour has been posted for IPFW traffic. The closure is scheduled to be lifted by mid-July.

The work is part of the SR 930 bridge deck improvement and added travel lanes project. The project is scheduled for completion by late November 2014, weather permitting.
