I spend a couple of hours on Sundays putting together ingredients for Sunday Brunch, when you have a little more time for the good stuff.

  • This disastrously cute video of two little boys trying to surprise Mom with breakfast in bed was suggested by Kara Lopp. It was posted a year ago by Hollie Fabry on YouTube.

Story worth your time: One of my former co-workers is a heck of a writer and gets to the meat of the story. That’s why she’s become an author and has a book, “Factory Man: How One Furniture Maker Battled Offshoring, Stayed Local – and Helped Save an American Town” coming out this summer.

Here’s one of Beth’s last stories for The Roanoke Times about a mother who has become an activist after her son overdosed. The experts wanted to pull the plug, but there was “a kind of flicker.”
