Frost advisory issued for most of northeast Indiana

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for most of northeast Indiana between midnight Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.

The advisory is for the Indiana counties of Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash and Whitley, the weather service said in a statement.

Temperatures are expected to fall to between 30 degrees and 35 degrees tonight, which combined with light winds and clearing skies will allow frost to form in the area, the statement said.

It said sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered/
