Teen’s abuser to serve 6 years

A 26-year-old Bluffton man has been sentenced to serve six years behind bars for molesting a 13-year-old boy.

Roger W. Wiles had been charged with four counts of child molesting but pleaded guilty to one of those as part of a plea agreement.

On Wednesday, Wiles was sentenced in Allen Superior Court to serve 12 years in prison. Six of those years were ordered to be served behind bars, and six were suspended.

Wiles’ victim told police in August that Wiles began having sex with him around last Memorial Day. The episodes came to an end when the boy turned 14.
