Open house planned Saturday at ranch

Coinciding with its spring open house, Dare to Dream Youth Ranch has constructed a wheelchair ramp and loading platform to assist children with disabilities in mounting horses.

The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The ramp complies with the Americans With Disability Act and will be a loading platform for all children wanting to ride, according to a statement.

The ranch allows special-needs and other children to experience being around and caring for horses.
