Double shooting ruled homicide-suicide

The deaths of a man and woman found dead in a Huntertown home Thursday have been ruled a homicide-suicide.

David T. Wehrle, 39, and Linette A. Pass, 49, were found dead inside a bedroom at 12004 Wandering Way after Wehrle did not show up at work for several days.

The death of Pass on Wednesday was ruled a suicide by gunshot.

The Allen County coroner on Friday ruled Wehrle’s death a homicide because of at least one gunshot wound. His death is the fifth homicide in the county this year.
