Two arrested in hotel meth bust

A couple who could not be roused to check out of their Warsaw hotel room ended up in jail Friday.

Not because they did not check out on time, but because they had an active methamphetamine lab with them.

Courtney C. Bowling, 24, and Richard D. Cain, 33, were both arrested after an employee for the Comfort Inn called Warsaw Police.

Cain, of Warsaw, was charged with dealing, delivering or manufacturing methamphetamine.

He was being held in Kosciusko County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Bowling, of North Webster, was charged with possession of more than 3 grams of methamphetamine and possession of stolen property – she had a stolen license plate on her car – and was being held on $25,000 bond.
