Warrent issued for Hardy

An arrest warrant was issued for James Hardy after the former Elmhurst and Indiana football star failed to appear in court Thursday, according to Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Hardy, who played for the Buffalo Bills and spent time with the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL, was arrested Sunday and charged with resisting an executive officer after an altercation with Los Angeles police.

Hardy, 28, refused to comply with officers responding to a report of a disturbance and force was necessary to subdue him. Hardy was taken to a hospital after the encounter.
