Berry Street work begins Monday

FORT WAYNE – Berry Street is scheduled to close to through traffic between Fulton Street and Harrison Street beginning Monday.

The Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced Tuesday that the closure is expected to end by Friday.

Local traffic to businesses will be permitted, the department said, but a marked detour will be set up for Berry Street traffic.

Paving work will be done as a part of the Ewing East/West Storm Sewer Separation Project from 2013.

There will be no parking along Berry for maintenance and construction purposes, the announcement said.
