'Bark in the Park' returns to TinCaps game

Dogs are welcome at the Fort Wayne TinCaps' June 1 game with West Michigan, the club announced today.

The second annual "Bark in the Park" is at 3:05 p.m. at Parkview Field, presented by the Petco Foundation and the Allen County SPCA.

Pooch Passes are available for $12, allowing lawn seating for fans and their dogs, the TinCaps said in a statement. A portion of each pass is to be donated back to the SPCA.

"After the positive feedback we received during this event last season, we knew we had to do it again," TinCaps Corporate Partnerships Manager Tom Baxter said in the statement.

The deadline to purchase the passes is May 23, with space limited to the first 150 dogs, the club said. It said owners must sign a waiver; all dogs must be at least 1 year old and kept on a leash at all times.
