Guilty plea in attempted murder of wife, stepdaughter

Walker

Stephen D. Walker has pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder for shooting his wife and stepdaughter in the fall.

Walker, who was 34 at the time of the shootings in October, is accused of shooting the women in a mobile home north of Fort Wayne, according to court papers.

Police said he had been drinking and shot them after his wife spoke to an ex-boyfriend. Walker was wearing a motorcycle helmet inside a car when he later was stopped by police.
