Stories worth your time

  • We've all heard the phrase "Don't complain, don't explain." Well, if you say or do something really bad, don't give an interview to complain and/or explain unless can do better than these guys. Fuller reports on national politics for "The Fix" and Post Politics.
  • Steve Warden's new Journal Gazette column, Morning Observations, is really fun. His interview with blind bus rider Jerry McGill is just plain good writing.
  • I caught the list of Inc.'s 100 great questions every entrepreneur should ask in Blue Sky, the Chicago Tribune's section related to innovation and entrepreneurship. If you think the place where you work could use some innovation, it offers interesting ways of looking at some old problems.
  • If you are worried about how few protections we have as big business and others mine for our information, this story probably won't make you feel better.
