Disability advocates set candidate forum

The Northeast Indiana Disability Advocacy Coalition will host a free public forum tonight for the candidates seeking the Republican nomination in the 15th District state Senate primary.

The forum will be at the League for the Blind and Disabled, 5821 S. Anthony Blvd. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the forum starts at 5:30 p.m.

The Republican primary candidates are Allen County Councilman Darren Vogt, Allen County Sheriff Ken Fries, former Fort Wayne City Councilwoman Liz Brown and Jeff Snyder.

All questions during the forum will focus on disability issues. The coalition’s mission is to be a common voice for equal opportunities on behalf of the disability community.
