Ewing Street lanes to be restricted

Southbound traffic is scheduled to be reduced to one lane on the Ewing Street bridge over the St. Marys River for a week.

The Allen County Highway Department announced Thursday that the bridge, which is between Superior and First Street north of downtown Fort Wayne, will close at 8 a.m. Tuesday and is expected to open by 4 p.m. May 6.

Crews will be working on a log jam, the announcement said.
