Chargers at home at Parkview

– Parkview Field was friendly to the Carroll Chargers on Tuesday, if hardly confining.

In the opening game of the Parkview Sports Medicine Baseball Series, the Chargers raked four Huntington North pitchers for 13 hits and 10 runs in a 10-0 shutout.

And Chargers pitcher Taylor Goshen was in his comfort zone, too, spinning a one-hit shutout.

At the plate, Grant Inman, Trevor Snyder, Matt Meihls and Matt Owens all had two hits.

Jacob Hansen drove in four runs and scored two.
