1 charged in narcotics investigation

A Fort Wayne man faces cocaine charges after a drug-related search warrant was served at a city address, police said.

Richard Eric Jordan, of the 3000 block of Monroe Street, was charged with five counts of dealing cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of heroin and possession of paraphernalia, Fort Wayne police said in a statement.

Bond was set at $255,000, the statement said.

At about 1:10 p.m., Fort Wayne police said, as part of an ongoing investigation, the Vice/Narcotics Division and Emergency Services Team served a search warrant at an address in the 1900 block of Andreas Way.

As a result, two firearms, cocaine and paraphernalia were seized, the statement said.

Jordan was located and arrested, police said.
