Meeting set on Bluffton road work

The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a public information meeting Thursday in Bluffton on proposed intersection improvements on Indiana 1 south of the city.

An open house starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by a presentation at 6 p.m. at Wells County Public Library, 200 W. Washington St.

The meeting will cover proposed improvements at the junction of Indiana 1 and Indiana 116 on the south edge of Bluffton. Although the project scope will be addressed, the meeting is not intended to be a forum to discuss specific right-of-way concerns.

During the open house, INDOT officials will answer questions. Project maps, displays and project information will be available.
