Fort Wayne woman claims $250,000 prize

Laura Keller of Fort Wayne is a faithful Hoosier Lottery player, picking up her Mega Millions and Powerball tickets each Friday for the weekend drawings.

Her big win came, however, from a last-minute purchase of a Lucky 7s Value Book scratch-off game, according to a statement issued Tuesday by lottery officials.

Keller claimed her $250,000 prize last week at Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis.

Lottery officials said she first won $40 on the $20 game, so she put half the money away and spent the other half to buy the winning ticket.
