2 arrested after New Haven robbery

Two men were arrested late Thursday after a robbery at a New Haven gas station.

Shortly after 11 p.m., New Haven police were called to the Speedway gas station at Lincoln Highway and Hartzell Road, where witnesses said two men with guns robbed the store, police said.

A police dog led officers north of the store, where they found a handgun they believe was used in the robbery.

A witness then told police he saw the two men walking near the area of Brookwood Drive and Indiana 930. They were quickly arrested.

Dale A. Leach, 22, and Alexander R. Yoho, 24, were arrested on one charge each of robbery.

Each was being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.
