City sets pickup of bagged leaves

Because of the heavy December snow that prevented the completion of bagged-leaf pickup, the Fort Wayne Street Department next week will collect leaves that have been bagged in biodegradable bags.

Residents with bagged leaves can call 311 through Friday at 5 p.m. to schedule a pickup. The bags will be collected within two business days.

This additional week is for leaves placed in biodegradable bags only and bags will be picked up only if residents call 311.
