Behind a relentless offense, the TinCaps beat Peoria 15-10 on Saturday evening for a three-game sweep before 4,627 fans at Parkview Field.
The TinCaps had 18 hits one day after compiling 16.
Leadoff man Mallex Smith had four hits, including two triples, and drove in three runs while scoring three of his own. Teammate Ronnie Richardson had three hits and four RBI for the TinCaps, while Josh VanMeter and Dustin Peterson drove in two runs apiece.
The TinCaps (7-8) are off tomorrow before heading out on a seven-game road trip. They play on 20 consecutive days beginning Monday.
Cory Bostjancic (1-0) pitched 2 2/3 innings in relief of Justin Livengood, who made his second appearance for the TinCaps and allowed four runs.
