    A Fort Wayne woman has been arrested on a felony charge of promoting prostitution, and six other women were arrested on misdemeanor prostitution charges, in a Web sweep conducted this week, city police said today.

    A two story home went up in flames this morning and it took firefighters 18 minutes to get the fire under control, said Fort Wayne Fire Department Public Information Officer Stacy Fleming.

2 charged in gas-station armed robbery

A witness to an armed robbery is being credited with spotting the suspects and keeping watch on them until police arrived.Gunmen robbed the Speedway station at 11:17 p.m. Thursday at Lincoln Highway and Hartzell Road, according to a statement issued Friday by the New Haven Police Department.

It said men dressed all in black robbed the station using handguns, and then ran away.

A witness to the robbery saw two men walking south on Brookwood Drive, south of Indiana 930, and continued to watch until a Fort Wayne police officer arrived.

Dale A. Leach, 22, and Alexander R. Yoho, 24, each has been charged with one count of robbery, police said.
