Ontel's ISO7X Isometric Exercise Device has been recalled, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said today.

ISO7X Isometric Exercise Devices recalled

Ontel on Thursday announced that it has recalled its ISO7X Isometric Exercise Device after several people were injured.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission notice said the handle grips can break and eject the internal spring coil and rod. Five people have reported injuries that include cuts and punctures.

About 170,000 have been recalled, and the notice said the recall involves only the isometric exercise devices with black handle grips. They were manufactured in China and sold nationwide for about $30.
