A fire that caused minor damage led the evacuation of employees at a southwest-side business Monday.

Fort Wayne Firefighters were called to Mullinix Packages Inc. at 3511 Engle Road just after noon.

There was moderate smoke in the building and, upon further inspection, the fire was found within a vacuum pump room in the facility.

The fire was contained to the equipment in the room and about 50 employees were evacuated, according to a fire report.
