Formal charges in parking lot stabbing

Allen County Prosecutors on Monday formally charged a man involved in a parking lot stabbing last week.

Jonathan L. Courtois, 23, of the 11000 block of Millstone Drive, is now facing counts of aggravated battery, battery and criminal recklessness.

He's accused of getting out of a car and confronting a man who was outside near Swinney Park on April 6, according to police reports and court records.

Courtois allegedly stabbed the man and left the scene, only to turn himself in days later.

The victim of the stabbing was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
