FORT WAYNE – City Utilities will host information sessions for residents in southwest Fort Wayne to get an update about their transition from Aqua Indiana water to City Utilities water.
The city’s $67 million purchase of Aqua Indiana’s southwest system and settlement of the dispute over the purchase price for the company’s former north system is expected to get final approval late this month or early May.
The transition to city water for Aqua customers could start in the fall, a process that will take about five months to complete.
