Columbia City joins Indiana Main Street

Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann announced Thursday that Columbia City Main Street is joining the Indiana Main Street Program, which encourages economic development, improvement and restoration in the downtown areas of Hoosier cities and towns.

Main Street communities have access to professional assistance and are eligible to apply for improvement grants. All aspects of the program are designed to promote development and revitalization – emphasizing design, organization, promotion and economic restructuring.

Columbia City Main Street joins more than 110 other Indiana Main Street Communities.
