Repairs, closures scheduled for Main Street

FORT WAYNE – Main Street is scheduled to close between Leesburg Road and Davis Street beginning Monday.

The Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced Friday that the closure is expected to last through April 18.

It said Main Street eastbound will be closed to traffic at Leesburg. Main Street westbound will be opened to traffic up to Davis Street from downtown. There will be a marked detour for Main Street using Leesburg, Spring Street and Van Buren Street.

This will allow the city to make pavement repairs.
