The Journal Gazette is seeking participants for its Weighty Matters: Teen Edition weight-loss program that begins June 9 and will help teens ages 13 to 18 establish a healthier lifestyle.

‘Conan’ to air from Comic-Con

Conan O’Brien is going to become the first late-night host to broadcast his show from San Diego’s Comic-Con International.

“Conan” will be in San Diego in 2015, doing the TBS show from the Spreckels Theatre from July 8 to 12.

With Comic-Con such a major destination for Hollywood talent these days, the guest lineup for O’Brien’s shows that week should be impressive.

Webbys nods made

This year’s list of nominees for Webby awards celebrating Internet achievement range from celebrities such as Beyoncé and Ellen DeGeneres to Google and GoPro, the maker of popular mountable video cameras.

Among the online videos nominated is “24 Hours of Happy,” a 24-hour music video starring Pharrell Williams.

The winners of the 18th annual awards will be announced April 29.

Ma to be honored

Cellist Yo-Yo Ma will receive the first Fred Rogers Legacy Award, which is named for the creator and late host of “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.”

The TV icon’s legacy continues at the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media at St. Vincent College near Latrobe, Pa., Rogers’ hometown.

The award recognizes meritorious and charitable work.

Ma will give a recital after accepting the award May 23.
