Huntington County drug sweep nets 28

A drug sweep Tuesday morning in Huntington County resulted in 28 people in the city and county being arrested on dealing charges.

Detectives with the city police department and sheriff’s department were aided by the Indiana State Police, Warren Town Marshal’s Office, Markle Town Marshal’s Office, Allen County Drug Task Force, the Bluffton Police Department and the Wells County Sheriff’s Department, according to the Huntington County release.

Most of those arrested were in their 20s. In most cases, the sheriff’s department did not say specifically what drugs were involved, although several of the arrests were on methamphetamine charges.
