Early voting begins today

Early voting for the 2014 primary election begins today in the lobby of the Rousseau Centre, 1 E. Main St.

The Election Board office will be open for early, in-person voting from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, through May 2. The office will also be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, and Saturday, May 3. The final day to vote early at the Election Board office is 8 a.m. to noon May 5.

More than 22,000 voters took advantage of early voting in the 2012 presidential election.
