Celina man charged in marijuana case

A Celina, Ohio, man found slumped over the steering wheel Friday night has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, the Mercer County sheriff said today.

Jeremy J. Green, 23, also was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was released on bond, Sheriff Jeff Grey said in a statement.

It said dispatchers received a call about 6:40 p.m. Friday about a vehicle sitting in the middle of Township Line Road, near Oregon Road, with the driver slumped over the wheel.

Green refused to take any tests, the statement said. It said deputies found four marijuana pipes, a bong, a grinder and a small amount of loose suspected marijuana inside the vehicle.
