What's blooming at Parkview Field?

A 24-foot tall stainless steel iris bloomed Monday morning in Meyers Park at Parkview Field.

Gensic Creative Metals employees installed the public sculpture designed by Dianna Thornhill-Miller, and it changes colors with the light at night.

New Bloom honors downtown's renaissance and Fort Wayne's commitment to the arts. Various local artists will perform at the New Bloom Dedication Festival at 1 p.m. on April 26.
